If you have been searching for a good do-it-yourself, wind power generator guide, you are not alone. And like me there is a good chance that you have seen more recommendations than you can shake a stick at and... ...you may be more uncertain than you were when you started. I spent hours scouring the internet to figure out which wind power generator guide was the best in terms of giving me what I needed to make my own wind powered electricity, fast and cheap. But I just ended up more confused, because each website review that I read recommended a different do-it-yourself instruction guide. So I decided to do a scientific study. Ok, so it wasn't really "scientific" ...but it made me feel better about my choice because I was able to base my decision on statistics rather than the opinions of others. However, one thing all of the review sites did help me with was narrowing down my choices. I was seeing two websites named more than all of the others combined. So I took the top two and typed each one into a Google search bar...in quotes. The first one was called "Earth4Energy.com". When I did a Google search for it, I saw that there were 196,000 webpages with the name Earth4Energy somewhere on the page. (See screenshot below):  Then I did a search for another
name that seemed pretty popular, which was called "Homemadeenergy.org".

Google gave me, Earth4Energy
is 4 times more popular than Homemadeenergy.
For me, this was just an easier
way to do it. These results carried a lot more weight with me
than the opinions of a person I don't know (nothing personal to
them by the way) that put up their own review site...
...therefore these results carried a lot more weight than someone's personal recommendation...because...after all, Google is a pretty good representation of what is available on the internet and what is popular. And the stats don't lie. You don't get those kind of search numbers and that kind of popularity by accident. Earth4Energy.com gets over twice as many search results as the 2nd most popular do-it-yourself wind power product, Homemadeenergy.org. That's a big difference in online popularity...and that helped me make my decision. I came to the conclusion that popularity that strong can't be accidental...it's earned.
